Well Bingo is thought to originate in Italy way back as early as the 1530’s, it is believed to originate from a great game the Italians liked to call Lo Guioco del lotto d” italila (which is still played today) This is believed to be the very first ever recorded version of the game of Bingo.

Players used to play another version of the game and for this they would use bells which they would then ring them upon completion of their tickets and this would sound very much like a BING, later on once the game had evolved and the bells were discarded callers then began to use the word “BINGO” as this represented the sound that the bells made.

However the word Bingo came into existence is recognized by millions around the world today.
